Overview
Morgado Golf Resort is an inland multi-Course golf destination at Morgado do Reguengo, between Portimão and the Serra de Monchique. The golf offering comprises two distinct 18-hole layouts: the longer par-73 Morgado Golf Course, opened in 2003, and the par-71 Álamos Golf Course, opened in 2006. Both were designed by European Golf Design and are available through the resort's shared public tee-time operation. The shared golf facilities include two grass practice tees, chipping and putting greens, practice bunkers, academy instruction, a pro shop, equipment hire, buggies, manual trolleys, a restaurant and bar. The adjacent NAU Morgado Golf & Country Club provides on-site accommodation and outdoor pools in a quiet Algarve barrocal setting. The golf academy is a practice and tuition facility rather than a separate playable Course.
