Overview
Vale do Lobo is a coastal residential and holiday resort in Loulé municipality, founded in 1962 and home to two current 18-hole golf Courses. The par-73 Ocean Course combines Sir Henry Cotton's historic nine-hole routings and descends through pines and a nature reserve towards the Atlantic. The par-72 Royal Course, opened in 1997, was designed by Rocky Roquemore from Cotton's original drawings and is known for lake-lined holes and a cliff-top coastal sequence. Historic Orange, Yellow and Green nine-hole routings belong to the development of today's Courses and are not separate current Course records. Golf operations are centred at Parque do Golfe. Shared facilities include the Golf Club and reception, pro shop, academy and practice areas, Spikes restaurant and bar, changing rooms and lockers, buggy, trolley and club rental, and access to wider resort accommodation, spa and fitness services. Members, resort guests and visitors can use the two Courses, with direct tee-time booking through the first-party Golfmanager portal.
