Überblick
Salgados Golf Club is the golf venue within the Salgados resort area near Guia, Albufeira. Its single playable Course is an 18-hole, par-72 Pedro Vasconcelos design between Praia de Gale and the Salgados Lagoon Nature Reserve. Highgate Portugal has operated Salgados since 2023 and appointed Troon to manage golf operations, agronomy, sales and marketing. The venue is associated with Algarve Marriott Salgados Golf Resort & Spa and neighbouring on-site partner hotels, while public tee times remain available without a hotel stay. Shared golfer facilities include a Clubhouse restaurant and bar, golf shop, rental buggies, manual trolleys and clubs, putting and chipping greens, a short-game area, instruction with a PGA professional and indoor simulators. The lesson programme, simulators and practice areas support the one outdoor Course and are not separate Course records.
